EVERO Rehabilitation Table

The industrial design was developed for HABYS Sp. z o.o.

HABYS sets the bar high, as a brand of such reputation demands excellence. The objective was to create a market-distinguishing product, engineered with the latest design tools and manufactured using state-of-the-art technologies.

General Design Assumptions

A stationary rehabilitation table available in two versions:

  • With mechanical height adjustment (crank mechanism).
  • With electric height adjustment (actuator).

The table is designed for rehabilitation treatments, physiotherapy, massage, and kinesiotherapy in medical and clinical offices. It must allow patients to assume the correct position for an effective and safe procedure. he structure of the table must provide easy and full access to the patient from all sides.

Design Suggestions

The table is a tool for the physiotherapist; therefore, all applied solutions must stem from the ultimate goal of achieving maximum functionality.

A unique visual effect should be achieved using widely accessible technologies: laser cutting, as well as profile and sheet metal bending, joined together by welding. Guided by the principles of sustainability, the use of plastics and environmentally costly materials is minimized.

The applied styling elements will serve to create a product that stands out among other devices in its class. The goal is to strengthen and highlight the HABYS brand, reinforcing its reputation as a company that cares for both the user and the patient, while remaining highly conscious of the importance of design.

The offered color palette should harmonize with the original styling without limiting the ability to match modern medical office interiors.

The construction of the table must allow for easy cleaning and disinfection.

Scope of Design Work Completed

The scope of work included collaboration on product development strategy, industrial product design, development of full technical documentation by the WÓJCIK DESIGN engineering team, and design supervision during production implementation.

Achieved Design Results

Through a collaborative team effort with HABYS, we created a market-distinguishing product that customers are excited to buy. It was built for physiotherapists and tailored to their needs, as they directly and continuously consulted on the project.

Together with the marketing team and the manufacturer, we sought solutions to enhance the table’s functionality down to the smallest detail—which was made possible by using the latest design tools. The top priority was product ergonomics, balanced with aesthetics.

One could design a “futuristic” table as a one-off trade show gadget. However, manufacturing has its own rules, and production should be seamless for the manufacturer.

The EVERO stationary table is a product that truly meets the expectations of physiotherapists.
